Compliance and sound process are critical for the success of any worksite wellness program. Value-based Benefit Design (VBBD) is an evidence-based approach to health benefit design that removes financial barriers to clinically nuanced care that results in high value outcomes. As we work to keep health insurance affordable for employees and employers, we must find ways to achieve these results and remain compliant and accessible. Join presenters Caroline Fraker and Alida Moonen as they explore critical compliance issues and relevant steps for integrating VBBD into wellness programs.
Following this presentation, participants will be able to:
- define Value-based Benefit Design.
- list the key steps that make up the process of adding VBBD nuance to your current health benefit plan.
- identify the critical compliance issues that we must address as we consider integrating plan design into our wellness efforts.
