Academic Program Accreditation (APA)
Health Promotion/Wellness graduates are entering an increasingly competitive market. We, at the National Wellness Institute, have developed an accreditation and certification process to assist you in presenting your program and graduates to employers, assuring them that your graduates are well qualified. By becoming an accredited academic program, you ensure that your curriculum will be recognized for promoting quality professional preparation and promoting on-going professional advancement.
Our Academic Accreditation Committee (AAC) developed a baccalaureate degree level set of standards and processes that lead to accreditation of academic programs and to certification of their graduates. By meeting these standards you demonstrate that your graduates have acquired appropriate knowledge and skills to initiate and provide effective wellness/health promotion programs in a variety of settings.
