WellCert Program Overview:
Skill Development and Professional Certification
The WellCert program uses best-practices solutions to provide participants (worksite wellness professionals, benefit managers, and human resource administrators) with the skills and information they need to design, implement and evaluate programs that improve health and reduce health costs. Two of the most well-respected wellness organizations in the country, the National Wellness Institute and WebMD Health Services have joined forces to offer the multi-level WellCert programs for worksite wellness professionals. Each certification level is focused on twelve (12) different key skills considered relevant to the duties that each level is likely to be responsible for carrying out. This skill focus is unique to the industry and helps ensure rapid transition to work effectiveness for those completing each level of certification. Each certification level requires two full days of training, four small group projects and successful completion of a Challenge Exam. Participants will be provided with a 200+ page course workbook with color visuals and an accompanying CD that includes educational and program materials.
