What NWI’s New Certification Structure Means for You
The National Wellness Institute recently announced some important changes to its certification and educational programming structure. Please carefully review the information below to understand how these changes affect your NWI Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist (CWWS), Certified Worksite Wellness Program Manager (CWWPM), or Wellness in Clinical Practice (WCP) status.
NWI is proud of your achievements and recognizes the time, money, and energy you have invested to obtain an NWI certification. As an organization committed to its members, NWI will continue to support and recognize your commitment and expertise.
If you hold a valid CWWS, CWWPM, or WCP certification:
*If your CWWS/CWWPM/WCP credential expires between March 1, 2016, and December 31, 2018, you may choose to renew your credential(s) for an additional three years by meeting your original re-certification requirements. NWI recommends seeking continuing education in CWP core content areas to help you as you work toward eventual recognition as a Certified Wellness Practitioner.
We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions you have during this transition phase by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 715-342-2969.
Thank you for your continued dedication to the wellness profession and for choosing the National Wellness Institute for your professional development and certification needs.
