The mission of National Wellness Institute Foundation is to serve professionals, students, and organizations that promote health and wellness in underserved communities and to underserved individuals.

We accomplish this mission by:

  • continuing the mission of the National Wellness Institute to develop and provide education and resources to health and wellness professionals
  • raising funds through our network of constituents
  • offering grants and scholarships for NWI membership and its benefits, for NWI's online training programs, and for NWI's national conference
  • supporting programming on the local level by supplementing expert speaker fees and honorariums

What the NWI Foundation mission means in the greater world . . .

The National Wellness Institute Foundation exists to bridge the gap between served and underserved communities. The nonprofit, tax-exempt Foundation was established in 2003 to raise funds to provide assistance to wellness and health educators and professionals, NWI members, and students who would like to enhance their communities through education and training in the health promotion field.

Our Members, Our Success, Our Spirit

As a National and international nonprofit organization, NWI and its foundation have changed and enhanced. Through the world renowned annual National Wellness Conference that provides continuing education, networking opportunities, leading health promotion and wellness speakers, and many avenues for personal renewal, NWI provides abundant opportunities for learning, wellness activities, friendship and professional connections. The NWI Foundation works to remove the barrier of funding for those who wish to attend. Please help us ensure all those who wish to better their communities through health and wellness education are able to do so.
