A Certified Wellness Practitioner application for a graduate of an NWI Accredited Academic Program includes the following:
- A completed CWP application form (see below to apply online) to include applicant's mailing address and name as it should appear on the certificate.
- An official set of university transcripts indicating that the applicant has graduated from an NWI accredited program. Note: Individuals applying for certification as a Wellness Practitioner must have a minimum of a 2.75 overall grade point average (4.0 scale). If you are a graduate of an accredited two-year program, you must also send transcripts indicating when you received your bachelor's degree. - Application fee of $240 ($50 non-refundable) made payable to the National Wellness Institute. Payment by credit card may be made through the online application process. Note: Initial five-year certification automatically includes a five-year membership in the National Wellness Institute (NWI) at no additional charge (currently, a $745 value).
Note: Graduates of an NWI Accredited Academic Program must apply for CWP designation within 24 months of graduation to be eligible to apply as outlined above. If two or more years have elapsed since graduating from the accredited program, the applicant must submit a "CWP for Wellness Professionals" application.
See below to apply online. Applications will be reviewed once transcripts and full payment are received. Applicants will then be notified of their acceptance status via e-mail within 4-5 weeks. Certifications become active on the first day of the month following approval. Approved applicants will also receive an official certificate in the mail.
