Worksite Wellness Certificate
The Worksite Wellness Specialist (CWWS) and Worksite Wellness Program Manager (CWWPM) certificate programs offer participants the knowledge, skills, and tools to assist them in creating and sustaining a culture of wellness within an organization. Two training options, onsite and online, are available.
Onsite programs are facilitated over two days (per level) at various locations throughout the year, including in conjunction with NWI’s annual National Wellness Conference. These trainings provide optimal opportunities to learn not only from our highly experienced instructors, but also through engagement with your peers.
Online programs are scheduled throughout the year as six-week trainings (includes an online exam). Offering the same high-quality content as the face-to-face trainings, these programs allow participants the flexibility of computer-based training with the opportunity to connect virtually with other participants.
Wellness in Clinical Practice Certificate
The National Wellness Institute Wellness in Clinical Practice (WCP) Professional Certificate Program provides the tools for participants to integrate the principles of evidence-based health behavior, wellness, coaching, health promotion, and disease prevention into their clinical practice. The program consists of 40 hours of self-paced online training.
Participants will have 120 days from the date their registration confirmation e-mail is sent to complete the course. For the best learning experience, it is recommended that the course is completed within 60 days. Individuals who successfully complete the training within 120 days receive a Certificate in Wellness in Clinical Practice.
Who should take this program?
The program content assumes participants already have a certain level of clinical knowledge; therefore it is recommended for professionals working directly with patients/clients in a clinical setting.
Facilitator Certificate Courses
Individuals who earn a Facilitator Certificate through NWI will be able to use the tools, resources, and techniques provided in the certificate course to train students, employees, and clients in various settings in the topic presented.
