National Wellness Institute Scholarship Application
Share |

National Wellness Institute (NWI) scholarships are made possible through generous donations in any amount to the National Wellness Institute (NWI) Scholarship Fund. The NWI Scholarship Fund supports professionals, students, and organizations promoting health and wellness in underserved communities and supports underserved individuals (those who face economic, cultural, or language barriers, or those in an underserved geographic location). A portion of NWI Scholarship funds is also allocated each year to specifically assist wellness professionals working outside the United States in acquiring NWI membership or certification or in attending NWI programming.

NWI Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to individuals best demonstrating the positive impact they have on the health and wellness of underserved populations and/or whose organizations show the greatest need for training in the field of wellness so that their employees may assist underserved populations. Partial or full scholarships are awarded throughout the year based on available funding in the following funding categories:

  • NWI 1-year Membership Scholarship
  • National Wellness Conference Scholarship*
  • NWI CWP Certification Scholarship
  • NWI Professional Certificate Program Scholarship (Worksite Wellness Specialist, Worksite Wellness Program Manager, or Wellness in Clinical Practice)
*Applications for National Wellness Conference scholarships must be submitted between January 1 and April 5 of the corresponding conference year. NWC Scholarship applicants will be notified via email by April 15. NWI Scholarship applications for all other funding categories may be submitted at any time; individuals will be notified within 30 days of submitting an application.
