The National Wellness Institute is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Foundation for Financial Wellness (FFW) to develop financial wellness trainings. Initial courses will offer the Case for Financial Wellness and a facilitator certificate that provides resources and training for wellness professionals to present to the populations they serve. The National Wellness Institute (NWI) and the Foundation for Financial Wellness (FFW) are kicking off an exciting new partnership by offering LIVE online trainings led by FFW Executive Director Brent Hines.
After these live sessions, the trainings will be offered as on-demand interactive eLearning courses only. Choose from two options: 1) A 7-credit "Financial Wellness Facilitator Certificate" course or 2) A 2-credit "Case for Financial Wellness" course (note: this course is included in the Facilitator Certificate course).
Financial Wellness Facilitator Certificate Course
This 7-credit Facilitator Certificate course looks at financial wellness through the lens of NWI’s Six Dimensions of Wellness model. Participants gain the knowledge, skills, and resources to lead a 55-minute Financial Wellness Lunch and Learn to enhance the financial wellness of the populations they serve.
Facilitator Certificate Course Registration Fee:
$545 for NWI members | $675 for non-members (Earn 7* continuing education credits upon completion!)
The inaugural Financial Wellness Facilitator Certificate course includes the following elements, which should be completed in this order (select your course dates during registration):
October 9, 2018 or October 23, 2018; 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. CDT: "The Case for Financial Wellness" live webinar via Zoom (+ online quiz) — also available as a standalone webinar/course**
Self-paced interactive eLearning course: "The 5 Essentials of Wellness" (3 hours)
November 1, 2018 or November 13; 12 p.m. - 2 p.m. CST: "Financial Wellness Lunch and Learn" Facilitator Training

Facilitator Certificate course registration includes the PowerPoint slide deck, facilitator notes, handouts, and additional tools to aid in presenting the lunch and learn. On-demand interactive eLearning Facilitator Certificate course will be available after November 15, 2018.
**Participants who have earned 2 credits for completion of NWI's "The Case for Financial Wellness" course prior to registering for the Financial Wellness Facilitator Certificate course earn 2 fewer CECs for completion of the Facilitator Certificate, as credits cannot be awarded twice for the same training.
**"The Case for Financial Wellness" Standalone Course/Webinar
By taking part in the 2-credit course, wellness professionals will have access to tools and materials that will allow them to create a clear argument for financial wellness inside their organizations and community programs. This course is included in the Financial Wellness Facilitator Certificate course, but may be taken a la carte as noted below.
